Week 10...The Adventure Ends

I waited till I could see the boys in the background to take this picture. I think it is a little too dark.

This is an old hotel in downtown Urbana. I like the blue building next to it. It adds color. That side of the street was shady, so I had to increase the exposure.

My family went to Columbus yesterday and took a hike in Highbanks Metro Park. I put the camera on self-timer for this picture.

Photography Class Week 8...Landscapes

I have discovered the enemy of the landscape photographer....telephone lines! They are always there when you don't want them to be. I had to really move around to get this shot without any wires in it.

This is a picture I took last week when I did the photo shoot with my siblings. I really liked the feel of the picture.

Do sky pictures count as landscapes?

Photography Class Week 7...The Adventure Continues

For this photo shoot, we trekked into a field near our house. It was a lot of fun! So fun, in fact, that we were gone for an hour-and-a-half. (We were almost late for dinner...oops!)

I had Drew throw up leaves so that they would rain down on him for this picture.

We discovered a little meadow with a red barn behind it that was perfect for pictures! Grace likes to draw so we brought a chalkboard a long long way into the field.

Leaf Wars!

Photography...Part 6

I made my siblings go outside so that I could take their pictures. I took a lot of them but they were good sports.

We went back to the church bus yesterday because it makes a cool background!

Photography Class... Part 5

I had my siblings go out in the field behind our house and pose for me.
Drew was happy because he got to wear the fedora.

This one is from Monday. I like how there are different colors that all draw the eye in .

Another picture in the field.

This is the top half of my house. I tried to go for a different perspective.

The white buildings are the back of Chuck E. Cheese.

The bus... complete with a Radio U sticker.

Week 4 Homework

I've been experimenting with sunrises. I like to frame them with a flower or tree to give more depth to the photo.

We visited my grandma on Tuesday for her birthday. She lives on Lake Erie in Northern Ohio. We were driving by the lake when it hit me... photo op! I rushed to the beach for about 5 minutes. I just wish the sun would've been out.

My brother and I were waiting for my Mom at the grocery. We were both bored so we took pictures of each other! I'm not a big fan of the car setting but I like his pose.
